Bird grit is an essential aid to your bird's digestion. As it has no teeth, your bird cracks the seed with its beak to remove the husk and then swallows the kernel whole. The grit is held in your bird's crop where it grinds down the seed into a form that can be easily digested. Your bird only holds a small quantity of grit in its crop at any one time. You can ensure that your bird always has enough grit by making it available in a separate bowl to the seed or through regular feeding of Avia Healthy treats.

Payment can be made by PayPal, Google, Credit or Debit Cards. Once your payment has been received we will send you a confirmation email. VAT invoice will be sent when requested. Our listed prices include VAT at the standard rate. If the item needs to be shipped to an alternative address please update the delivery during checkout.

Orders will be dispatched via Royal Mail, Parcel Force or City Link. Most orders will be sent out within 24Hrs excluding weekends and Bank Holidays. We aim to dispatch all orders within 2 working days of cleared funds. All City Link deliveries MUST be signed for. Please note: Parcel Force and City Link delivers Monday to Friday, between 9:00am - 5:30pm. If there is no one available to sign for your parcel they will leave a card with details of when your item will be redelivered or where you should go to collect it. Returns
If for any reason you change your mind, or any of our products fall below the standard you would expect and you wish to return the item(s), you must first notify us by Email within 14 days of delivery. We are happy to refund or exchange the item(s) providing it is returned unused, in its original packaging with all accessories. Please retain proof of posting from post office.
Faulty items
If your item develops a fault please notify us by email.
Return postage will be covered for faulty products only.
